Ned is an organic farmer living hungry ambition in New York with his girlfriend (Kathryn Haan) until he was defrauded in the sale of a pot in uniform (yes, even) official. Upon his release from prison eight months later, Ned returns to the farm to kill himself, but his girlfriend moved to a new guy - ".'s Out of my reach" excellent TJ Miller Worse, it took over its dog, Willie Nelson.
All Ned has left are the Crocs on their feet. He spent the rest of the movie couch jumping from a sister to another to save money by doing odd jobs, including as assistant to his brother-brother (Steve Coogan). Ned first stop is with Liz and her husband, Dylan (Coogan). Once that is done to welcome there, which moves in the race obsessed with Miranda (Banks) before landing with Natalie (Deschanel) and Cindy (Jones). Each sister is drawn as a stereotype - Miranda, the reporter egocentric Liz, the mother leaves her son were harassed just one cupcake a week and Natalie, a lesbian with her artist's eye (Dancy), asks for nude. And frustrating, the constant presence of Ned interrupts their lives, revealing their secrets without knowing it and travel plans. Finally, Ned forces the family to reevaluate their relationship.
Rudd Coogan's scenes - all the improvements - were among the most dynamic of the film suffers from some problems usually associated with comedy ensemble.
